Faculty can now sign out an Apple TV device from the Teaching and Learning Centre
Apple TV is a digital media receiver developed and sold by Apple Inc. It is a small network appliance designed to play digital content originating from any Mac OS X or Windows computer running iTunes onto an enhanced-definition or high-definition widescreen television. With AirPlay, it’s simple to play content from your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch on your TV. Setting up Apple TV takes almost no time at all. Just plug the power cord into the wall and connect Apple TV to your widescreen TV using an HDMI cable . Since everything streams wirelessly to Apple TV using your Wi-Fi network, that’s all you need.
You can download the Remote app, so that you control iTunes and Apple TV using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch over your Wi-Fi network.
Faculty can send an email to email@example.com requesting the use of the Apple TV for up to a week for their classes or research purposes.
