The BCNET Annual Conference is Canada’s Premier Higher Education Information Technology Conference.

BCNET 2018 is a three-day forum for higher education IT staff, management and C-suite to network, connect and share insights and challenges in the area of technology to advance teaching, learning and research. The conference hosts over 700 delegates from 25 BCNET member institutions including colleges, universities and institutes in British Columbia.

The conference will take place at SFU Harbour Centre in beautiful downtown Vancouver.

BCNET 2018 is organized into eight technology tracks to offer relevant learning paths for you.

  • Collaborate on digital network infrastructure, advanced networks, data-centre management and customer-service excellence.

  • Learn ways to hone your leadership skills, influence decision making, build successful teams and thrive as a leader in the higher education landscape.

  • Learn about IT experiences, best practices, successes and resources to support research and accelerate innovation and discovery at your campus.

  • Discover how our members are collaborating to develop shared solutions to drive down costs, maximize efficiencies, reduce duplication and leverage the negotiating power of institutions.

  • Elevate your learning at our hands-on post-conference workshops on Thursday, April 26, 2018.
