Authoring/Publishing Course Content

The three principal systems used for both online and face to face curriculum delivery at the Emily Carr Univeristy of Art + Design, are the Moodle course management system (CMS), the WordPress Blogging system and the Wiki system.


Moodle is a course management system (CMS) that allows faculty to post course content, communicate with students, set up quizzes or surveys and manage grades online. Visit Emily Carr’s Moodle Courses, or find out more information about Moodle Resources or Moodle Learning on this website or by using the Moodle drop down menus located below. Faculty, if you need a new course shell/shells for the upcoming or current semester(s), please log in to the Moodle Courses site, go to the Instructor Services drop-down menu and select, “request a new course“.

 


Emily Carr’s Blogs using WordPress software are available for Departments, Courses, Faculty and Research Initiatives. At this time we do not provide student blogs. Faculty interested in setting up a course, research or department blog, should email a request to Teaching and Learning Centre. Please see our Blogging Services section for more information.

ECUPS (Emily Carr University Production Services)

Emily Carr University Production Services (ECUPS) provides recording, editing, publishing and web broadcasting of ongoing special events and lectures that take place at Emily Carr University. The production team’s members are highly qualified Emily Carr students, trained in Film and Video, who may call upon other departments such as the Animation and Design departments to assist with productions.aculty wishing to request video recording or publishing with this service should visit the ECUPS website. This site provides examples of past and upcoming productions, services, as well as estimated rates of service.
