Moodle is used as Emily Carr’s learning management system(LMS) and has a a robust set of teaching & learning tools for faculty to support their curriculum development and delivery both in the classroom and online. It is the most widely used LMS in the world and currently has over 68 million users world-wide. Emily Carr’s blogging platform is used either as an alternative to using Moodle or in conjunction with Moodle. ECU’s blog platform uses WordPress, one of the easiest and most powerful blogging and website content management systems on the web today.
