Open Content Licensing for Educators is a free micro Open Online Course (mOOC) designed for educators and students who want to learn more about open education resources, copyright, and Creative Commons licenses.

The OCL4Ed course will be facilitated by the UNESCO OER Chair Network in collaboration with the OER Foundation and the Commonwealth of Learning.

General workshop information

  1. This is an asynchronous workshop divided into 5 sessions. You should aim to spend approximately 1 to 1.5 hours per session at times which suite your own schedule. We have allocated 2 working days per session for OCL4Ed 2012.12.
  2. The course materials are designed for guided self-study with opportunities for peer-support from your facilitators and fellow participants using microblog and discussion forum posts.
